Mathematics

Area is the amount of surface of a 2D shape cover. It's measured in square units.

Some there units are square centimeters (cm2) square meters (m2) square kilometers (km2).

The perimeter is the total distance around the outside of a 2D shape you calculate by  adding together all the lengths of a shape.

How to calculate  the perimeter of the triangle.

Because a rectangle is a shape that has two pair of equal parallel sides a several other ways to work  this out :

- you could add 5 cm  and 12 cm then multiply by  2 or anothers.

- you could multiply 5 by 2 and multiply 12 cm by 2 them add the total

- decide which is the easiest method for you

- this method works with  any shapes with 2 equals pairs for parallel sides.

How to calculate the perimeter of a triangle.

This is easy ! To find the perimeter you just need to add up the length of all 3 sides.

This method works with any others shapes that don't have parallel sides like a rectangle.

Now you know how to calculate the area of a rectangle. You can calculate the area of any shape that´s made up of rectangles. Break the shape down into individual rectangles to calculate the area of each rectangle, then add together to find the area.

First divide the shape into rectangles  then multiply the length by the width of each rectangle.

Thanks for watching my classwork

Now I will present my new video for the class
By mario =)

Hey guys see this  video of Troncho and Poncho in spanish is  very funny.
